Boone Printing and Graphics

So everyone always asks me where I work and what I do, and the best thing to tell them is to just say I work in a paper factory. There's a lot I do at my job: I drive a delivery truck, collate stacks of paper, package and ship orders, cut paper on a huge cutting machine, bindery, mail, filing, cleaning, preparing invoices and much more. It sounds like a lot, but the company really doesn't need me on staff. The workers there could get along fine without me. I love my job though! It's a mid-sized printshop called Boone Graphics, and I've been a shipping clerk there for about a year now. I just recently started making deliveries, which is nice because it gets me out of the warehouse from time to time. The staff there is great and we all have a good time while we're there. It's a really great work environment for a college student, the pay is fantastic and my schedule is flexible. My manager graduated from UCSB so he gives me a break when I'm hung over or need to leave early for a class. The job basically rules.

The Boone delivery truck. It's a little Toyota pickup with a shell that creates more blind spots than I want to think about right now.

The shrink-wrapper. Where I spend most of my time.

The best shop dog ever, Dali.
